A GREAT time at BACKWOODS FEST!!! Picture Overload....

Well it sure was a great weekend and a great time at the Backwoods Festival located in Thornville, Ohio. My mom, hubby's aunt, his cousin, and I all went to the Backwoods Festival. It was soooo much fun!!! All the good food, crafts, music, was all WONDERFUL!! Great demonstrations too-making of wooden spoons, brooms, with your option to buy one too. I saw so many handmade items- ornaments, candles, wood crafts, pictures,so on.......... I bought a few things including the scarecrow you will see in my pictures below. I have to admit I stopped at the candy booth, cookie booth, and sure had some wonderful sweet treats. Not good on the weight area but really good in my belly:) We listen to some great music, including a couple young kids playing their banjos, and a very talented man playing flute type music from handmade instruments he makes. Their was great food too, handmade vegetable soup in fresh made bread bowls( the soup was made over open fire), fried green tomatoes, handmade root beer floats, calzones, fried bologna and eggs and potatoes, cream puffs, fish, you name it I bet the had it:)Ready for next year!!! Well I just wanted to share some pictures with you from the festival.....and thanks for stopping by......
Pictures of the entertainment........and last but not least a picture of me and my mom............

  1. Hey there, what fun holiday pics! I was hoping your email was linked up to your comment, but I got the no reply commenter, so I thought I would catch you here... If you wouldn't mind re commenting on my give away tomorrow (Tuesday) that would be great... There was a glitch on my post so I had to reschedule it for tomorrow... Thanks... Happy Monday!

  2. I am so jealous! LOL! That looks so so much fun! From your pics, it looks like we have a very similar decorating style. I would have gone crazy at that festival!
