This Saturday 4/9 at 10am bring the kiddos over to Lowes for a free Build & Grow clinic. They’ll get materials and instructions for making this Sports Pinball game, along with a free apron, goggles and patch/certificate for completing the project. Be sure and check it out!!! Here is the information :) I believe you have to pre-register.
From project basics to giving your child the opportunity to say, "I built it!", our Build and Grow kid's clinics are a great way to help build confidence! Bring the kids into any Lowe's store and build a FREE wooden project. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project.

Saving Money While I Am Couponing :)

I have been couponing for awhile now and all the things I get for a cheap price, I clip, and clip, and print, and print :)I have really enjoyed couponing and saving money. I love saving money, and since I am a stay at home mom. I have got to find ways to cut spending. I don't have to have fancy things, I like second hand, and sometimes I splurge and buy nice things, mostly for my teenagers :) I have decided that when I use a coupon and how my recipt shows you saved this much on the bottom of the receipt, that the amount I saved I will use that money I saved and just put it into our savings. I think that be cool, I saved the money using coupons and if I wouldn't have used the coupon I wouldn't have saved, so why not put the money I did save into our savings, and I feel proud of that. Easy Crescent Rolls Smore Muffins YUM!!!:)

I made these last night and they were a huge hit with the family. I thought I would share the recipe and some pictures.

Smore Crescent Roll Muffins

2 cans of crescent rolls

16 large marshmallow

2-3 milk chocolate bars( Hershey)

half cup butter

1 package graham crackers (crushed)

Put 1 marshmallow on the shortest side of crescent roll triangle and top 2 pieces of chocolate bar on top marshmallow, start with shortest side and roll fold corners of dough over chocolate and marshmallow,pinch dough to seal. Make sure the marshmallow and chocolate are completely covered by the dough and that it is sealed. Dip the dough which will resemble an odd shaped ball with butter or brush with butter, and roll in graham cracker crumbs to coat. Makes 16 smore muffins

Place in greased muffin cups at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes or golden brown, serve warm. Make sure to put muffin cups on cookie sheet:)They look like a graham cracker muffin but the surprise inside o so good..:)

Candle Holders for $1 -Similar ones sell for a price out of my range :) Take a Look!!

I was surprised to have found these candle holders at Family Dollar, and they were only a buck. I have seen similar ones at Pier 1, WE/West Elm online catalog, and Crate and Barrel. They range in price from 7.95 for a similar one at Pier 1, to a set of 3 that look identical to these at WE West Elm for 25.00 or 1 for 9.00 WOW!!!

Now check out the pictures of the candle holders I bought for a buck, and similar ones at a cost way out of my price range....

I think they will look beautiful across my table. I am wanting to paint my living room yellow, yes yellow. My hubby is not happy about the idea but I think he will go with me on the idea after more begging.:) I also got this cute basket free-given to me. I want to do an Easter arrangement in it, then use it for Spring/Summer too, it sure would look pretty with some flowers in it.
