Valentine Floral Basket Arrangement

I just wanted to share my floral basket arrangement I made for Valentines' Day <3 It turned out really pretty and looks GREAT on my front door. My door is white and all the RED really looks sharp on my door. I used a regular hanging basket I have and put moss little bit of greenery and I found these great red glitter and plain RED roses, at my local Dollar Tree. The bushes of flowers had red glitter hearts in them too, which really set of my arrangement. I have lots of upcoming posts of different Valentine's Day ideas, and things to share. Opened!! Family Restaurant!!! Busy Times!!

Well its been a busy few weeks here. My dad opened his new restaurant in a nearby little town. It is a little diner with pizza, sub, ice cream, and other menu items. I have been working there in the evenings and help on other days all day. Been a busy time, snow here in Ohio and school delays, daughters lifting and working out schedules for her up coming track season. Its been a busy time needless to say. We are excited about the little restaurant my dad opened I like meeting new people and I Love the little restaurant. Don't get me wrong its hard work by all means managing family and helping at the restaurant. I will still keep up on my blog and on following all my favorite blogs. I am excited about my new family restaurant adventure. I will keep posting as often as I can and sharing recipes, crafts, and all things in blogging world. Happy New Year!! Hoilday Clean-Up

Happy New Year to all ALL!!! What are your New Year resolutions?? I have NONE..lol... I am not even going to make any, I know kind of sad huh?? Well not really, I just want to be happy and enjoy my life and all God has for me in 2013. I hate making resolutions because usually I fail at that resolution so I am not going to make myself feel bad about what I didn't accomplish so I would rather just Not disappoint myself.

I LOVE the Holidays, everything about them, who doesn't, Right? Well the only thing I dread is taking down all the decor after the Holiday. LOVE putting it ALL up, dislike taking it all DOWN :(
I decided this year to find away to keep all those tangled Christmas lights in order. I have been keeping some old paper towel holders and asked my family members to keep theres, they of course thought I was crazy..lol.. I used all my holders to wrap the Christmas lights around, neat, and will not be tangled when I go to put them up next year. You can buy sililiar plastic light holders but mine were FREE!! Silly maybe but it really is a clever idea. I enclosed some pictures below.

Egg Carton Put To Good Use/ Christmas Pictures

The Holiday's are now over I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!! I hope Santa brought you all that you wanted, and that you cherished the Holidays with loved ones. Our family celebrated the true meaning of Christmas with our families and celebrated the Birth of Our Lord And Savior Jesus!! Now that the Holidays are winding down, I took down the tree, and thought I show you I decided to use egg cartons to place small bulbs and ornaments in, they are great, and the carton provides extra cushion. Who new that an egg carton could bring so much joy to me, I get excited over the silliest things anymore:) Well, off to enjoy one of my new Christmas presents I am in LOVE with CROSSROADS candles, it smells so good and makes the whole house smell. I LOVE a good candle!!! Enjoy some Holiday pictures and my egg carton container pics..lol... Now on to the New Year, see ya soon bloggin friends.

Holiday Centerpieces CHEAP to make

 

 

 

I came across some beautiful looking Holiday looking daisie( not sure what kind of flowers they are)at Walmart and thought I do up two Holiday centerpieces with 2 little clear glass vases. I cut the flowers down to the size to fit the miniture vases. I used some ribbon LOOK how the design matches the flowers and the colors LOVE THAT, from the Dollar Store to wrap around the vases just taped on back part of vases,and these cute tinsil(hope that spelling is right..lol..) picks that I stuck down in the centerpieces, along with some candy canes. They turned out so cute, take a look, and Happy Holidays!!!

 

 

 

Holiday Decor Around My Home

Happy Holidays my fellow blogging friends. I wanted to share some pictures of the Holiday decor around our home. I LOVE the Holidays it really is the Happiest time of the year, family, friends, great food, cookies, presents and MOST IMPORTANT the Birthday of Our Lord and Savior Jesus! I love the smell of my Holiday melts and candles burnin, the Christmas movies on tv. And Food Network Holiday cooking theme shows and HGTV theme Holiday shows during the month of December. Christmas Bulb Wreath

I was wanting to make one of those bulb wreaths I have seen on the internet, and blogs. I've seen a lot of ones they were glued, and I thought there is a simple way. The pictures aren't the greatest the flash is horrible :(. UGG.......... I took a coat hanger and unwinded it. I placed it around my waist to get the circle shape. I picked out some bulbs at the Family Dollar store here in town. They have buy 1 get 1 half off right now. I was not sure how many bulbs I needed I got different shapes small, medium, and large ones. I had 2boxes left that I will return. I thought it turned out really pretty, the colors are Gold and Red its really bright hard to tell because of the flash on my camera. I  twisted the wire after I made my wreath and used the hook part of the hanger to hook onto the wreath holder. I wish I had used more colors but o'well it still turned out really good.
